Happy New Year!  To kick off 2012, we're doing an Ebony & Ivory Blog Hop.  Projects will be Basic Black and Whisper White, or Basic Gray and Whisper White, or Basic Black and Very Vanilla.  Some projects may have a "pop" of color in one spot for dramatic effect.

SUStars Blog Hop - November 2011: Gift-Giving Ideas

Welcome, Hoppers!  Our hop starts at 10AM EST on Saturday, November 19th.

Our theme this month is gift-giving ideas.  Not so much the gift, but how you give it!  You'll find gift card holders, boxes, bags and more on our hop.  Below are some gift card holders that I made for craft shows.  There are some retired stamps shown, but they are still cute and sell like hot-cakes!























They are simple to make, using just an invitation size envelope folded in half.  Then cut just the flap on the crease and cut off the right half of it (a triangle shape).  Seal the other half of the flap down, then decorate as you like.  You can make them fun for kids, or more elegant for adults.
